Staff Training

Staff Training

We not only ensure that our healthcare professionals are trained to the national standards upon joining the company, but are also committed to providing staff training and development opportunities which can lead to positive career progression.

We are registered and licensed by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator for health and social care in England, and to achieve this we must meet the CQC’s fundamental standards of care. One of these standards is that clients of health and social care services can expect to be cared for by qualified staff.

At Four Oaks Healthcare, we view staff training and development as essential to the continued development and quality of our organisation and provide a comprehensive program of training for all our staff.

Training begins with a comprehensive, mandatory induction course in compliance with the Skills for Care Common Induction Standards, to ensure that all employees comply with statutory training requirements. Thereafter, our workers are required to maintain their compliance annually and are notified automatically by our Four Oaks Healthcare Management System when their training requires renewal.

Our healthcare professional’s ongoing progress is evaluated through regular supervisions, mentoring, spot checks and appraisals. Further training is ongoing and tailored to meet the needs of both our personal assistants and clients and annual training updates are also compulsory.
